Best centralised exchange for newbies

Hello all.

My friend has asked me about crypto and what is the best exchange to get started with. I think the best thing to do is start with a centralised exchange to get started with before moving onto DEXs, simply because they have more information, ramping of bank cards and also customer service.

He's looking to start getting into possibly the top 30 marketcap projects, what exchange would you recommend?

For me it's Kraken, but I am curious what everyone thinks, thank you for your responses in advance!

I'm using Binance and OKX. They're really good and optimized for beginners.

I'm using Binance and OKX.
 
My recommendations are Kraken if you need easy fiat on and off ramping, Bybit if you already have funds onchain and just want to trade
 
I can recommend HTX ( Huobi) and Gate.io because they are listing coins with lower marketcap before other exchanges like Binance
 
Stick with one of the top exchanges, such as Bybit, OKX, or HTX. In my experience, Binance is sometimes more likely to suspend or restrict accounts.

You are right about Binance and they will not let you to withdraw your funds

Binance is the best in my opinion.
 
Indeed, CEX first is the safest way to onboard, particularly fiat on-ramps and support.
Kraken is good for security, but Binance and Coinbase will usually have better liquidity as well as access to all major altcoins in the Top 30
 
Kraken is one of the best without a doubt when it comes to buying and cashing out crypto. I have lot of friend who have been use Kraken to withdraw crypto to their bank for quite a long time. However for trading conditions, I would stick to bybit or binance.
 
location is the biggest thing here. if they are in the us or europe then kraken is easily the best choice for bank transfers and actually getting support if something goes wrong. binance and bybit have better liquidity sure but their kyc and sudden account locks are a massive headache for someone just starting out. plus if they only want top 30 coins they dont need the sketchy low cap stuff anyway. kraken or even coinbase is fine, just tell them to avoid using the "simple buy" buttons because the fees will eat them alive.
 
You’re good to go with pretty much any of the bigger names, Binance, Kraken or Coinbase for example. I’ve used all three and my favorite these days is Kraken. Fees are manageable and you’ll find pretty much every token/coin you’ll need on there.
 
I use Binance for everything Crypto. They beat the competition hands down.

Binance -;The best crypto exchange for newbie. Easy to understand how transfer p2p for trading, for p2p , buy sell easy , sending crypto easy too
