You have $1000. whats your move?

I'd probably invest it into a simple service business rather than chasing passive income. A basic website, some outreach tools, and a niche offer can turn $1,000 into clients much faster than trying to build an affiliate site from scratch. If I had to start over today, I'd spend most of it on lead generation and sales, not courses or fancy software.

honestly the answer changes a lot depending if that 1k is money you can afford to lose or your last 1k. people keep saying trading all in... thats how you end up with 0 not 2k.

if it was me i'd put it into a small service thing. something where the 1k buys you tools + a bit of outreach and you can actually charge people. service money comes back way faster than waiting on affiliate or some passive setup to mature. cashflow first, then you can play with the riskier stuff once you got something coming in.

skill matters too obviously. 1k in the hands of someone who knows a niche is a totally different game than 1k in the hands of someone still figuring it out. if you dont know what you're doing yet maybe spend a chunk just learning and keep most of it parked till you do.

Focus on how you reach that first thousand, and continue developing your skills through learning

Flip a service. Buy a gig on the marketplace for $100-200, resell it to a local business for $500-1000. Rinse and repeat a few times, then use the profit to build your own thing. $1000 works best as seed money for arbitrage, not for buying tools and hoping.
