How small art accounts (some AI) grow so fast from 0?

Basically the title.

Also, don't say things like "it's all about engagement and replying" cause that's total BS. I've seen tons of accounts who do 0 replies, they basically just do normal posts. (Yes, they're good posts, but there's also so many X accounts with same quality posts but getting no reach at all).

I'm also pretty sure a ton of those accouts also didn't get help from another big accounts, although many yes, they have a large account and just creating new ones to try to get that "viral" spark again on new accounts. This leads me to think that X has some sort of algorithm exploit, and doesn't rly reward consistent good quality posts like IG does.

I don't even know how it's possivble for these accounts to create the accounts and grow so fast, cause i'm pretty sure you have like some days of shadowban cooldown that you have to go through first. But whatever...

I could even show example, but I don't wanna have everyone looking at the accounts I'm looking at.

Almost certainly uses bots or are part of some artificial growth group that all support each other. Then, with enough "engagement", they get pushed as relevant
 
I should also add that these accounts are SFW. Probably cause X algo pushes to viral these, and not the NSFW (which prob require more long-term sutainted account growth, and not random explosive growth).

Also, I can also say that a lot of these revolve around posting an anime girl with like a white background, doing a pose to viewer, and that's it.

I know before the "undress" challenges popped pretty easily, but now just raw pics without challenges.
 
AI art accounts grow fast because the content volume they can produce is unmatched. A human artist posts once a day maximum while an AI account can post 10-20 pieces daily across peak hours. Combined with niche consistency and strategic hashtags the algorithm rewards the frequency. The ones that sustain the growth though are the ones that build genuine community interaction alongside the volume.
 
If a single post made on the page goes viral, then the page is run, managed, and retweeted by tons of other established accounts. X accounts gets viral sparingly, go through influential pages, ahead of tweets with massive engagements, you'd find lesser engaged tweets, a natural way of X algorithm, most accounts are subjected to this limited outreach, unless Elon, Trump, etc, pages with bangers on every tweet is botted or projected for a purpose by a group of influencers.
 
Post often, use visuals, and design for the algorithm to find trends that help you go viral. This helps you grow fast!
 
I've seen people copy the same content format and get completely different results. There's more going on than post quality alone.

Won't 10-20 posts per day get an account shadow banned for spam?
 
I don't think it's an exploit. I've watched accounts go nowhere for months and then suddenly take off from one post
 
Honestly, I think a lot of it comes down to luck and timing. I've seen plenty of accounts posting great art for months and barely getting any reach, while another account blows up after a few weeks. Some probably have experience from previous accounts, but X definitely feels more random than Insta. Sometimes it looks like the algorithm just decides to push one account and ignore ten others doing the exact same thing.
 
I don't think it's as simple as "just post good content" anymore. I've seen average posts take off and genuinely good ones get ignored. Feels like there are a lot of hidden signals influencing reach beyond what people usually talk about.

This honestly. I have seen some people post original content and it gets no traction at all. Few hours later someone else copies the content and alters it a little bit and their post goes viral. I think it has more to do with how quickly your own followers engage to the post after it is posted. There was a post from Nikita Bier that initially the post is shown to 20-30% of your followers, if it gets quick engagement from those, then it is recommended to others, and finally it gets shown on "For You" page where it is force fed on others who are not your followers but have similar interests.
