I was wondering if anyone here knows how to run campaigns on Weibo?

I can do native ones and to learn how to do it you will need a lot of time and money

– Need agency/Chinese entity to run ads + choose feed/KOL formats
– Target via interests, keywords, competitor followers
– Works best for awareness, not direct sales

Are you referring to the Chinese social media platform, Weibo? If so, you will need to complete real-name verification for your account and have a legitimate company.

I never had much luck running campaigns there without someone who understood the Chinese market

Weibo advertising is possible, but it’s not as open as Facebook or Google. Most people either use a local partner or an official ad account through Weibo’s business platform.

You can advertise on Weibo by registering a business account, verifying it, and then running campaigns like promoted posts, display ads, or hashtag ads.

Weibo advertisements can only be made through official channels like a business account or agency A verified business account is a requirement for creating ads
The best results will come when using both the post by KOLs and the promotional boost

Utilize the advertising platform from Weibo and target using interests, location, and keywords

Make an account on Weibo Ads and start with interesting content campaigns targeting the right audience.

If you're targeting the Chinese market, Weibo Ads can be very effective, but you'll usually need a verified account and a local advertising partner

Create a validated Weibo business account, sign up for Weibo Ads, select ad format, reach out your audience

I'm interested in this too. If anyone here has hands-on experience with Weibo campaigns, I'd love to hear what worked, especially regarding targeting options, ad approval, and costs.
