What makes a Reddit's account most authentic and trustworthy?

Spend some time on the account just like a real person, leave likes and realistic comments and warm it up for at least two weeks.

work on making good comments to get upvotes, the more upvotes you can get, the more trust you get, and avoid abandoning an account once it gets karma, and only using it when you work with it, keep checking in regularly to give it a natural look to the algorithm

Just comment, help people, join discussions and build karma naturally. Accounts that look like real users usually do better.

Hi @Digital Ninja

In my experience, account age and karma help, but they are not the main factors.

What makes an account look authentic is consistent activity in a few related subreddits, genuine comments, normal posting patterns, and actually participating in discussions instead of only posting links or promotional content.

If people see that you contribute value regularly, trust usually comes naturally. That's what helps with visibility and traffic in the long run.

An authentic Reddit account usually has a long history of normal activity like comments, discussions, and participation across different subreddits, not just posting links or promotions.

Here is my short answer in the style of BHW:
The number of posts doesn’t count; what really counts is the quality of the posts, the age of your account, karma variety, and real engagement. Natural history of posting with real comments and activity looks trustworthy

Reddit gives credibility to users that have old profiles, strong balance of karma, and a good ratio between comments and posts
What counts here is being consistent with your niche and interacting. When you appear human on discussions, traffic will eventually come.

If you're older, more active, and have high karma, you're more trusted.

Hi,
I am going to start working on reddit. So, I want to know that what are metrics that makes your account most authentic and trustworthy? So, I will get more traffic on my account.
If you have an established account with a lot of karma is an immediate factor of trust; also account age matters and not spamming other people's posts.

Account age, consistent karma growth, genuine engagement, and valuable contributions are the key metrics that make a Reddit account authentic and trustworthy.
