It can work very well, but it depends on the market and whether you're able to comply with Google's gambling advertising policies, the advantage is immediate traffic and targeting but competition and CPCs can be extremely high. Personally I'd combine Google Ads with SEO rather than relying on paid traffic alone especially for long term growth.

Running Google Ads for gambling is incredibly profitable if you are a fully licensed operator.

If you have the actual license and the legal right to operate in the target region, Google Ads is a gold right now. The strict 2026 policies have wiped out 90% of the small-time affiliate competition, meaning licensed operators get cheaper clicks and a massive ROI.

But if you do not have the license and are trying to fake it with cloakers or rented accounts, it is a guaranteed way to waste money and time.

if you know how to do it, then it is the absolute best traffic you can get, besides if you are some kind of famous content creator with a bunch of fans you can tell to deposit using your link obv, but it's hard, you will get banned, you will get frustrated, sometimes you will do everything correct and still not get ftds, but it is for sure good.

Google Ads for gambling is good only when your math is tight. The traffic is high intent, but CPC can eat you alive if your offer, geo, KYC flow, payment methods and retention are weak. A lot of guys look only at FTD cost and forget chargebacks, bonus abuse, slow approvals etc. If you’re licensed and tracking properly, yeah it can print... if you’re trying to run it messy, expect bans and burned budget fast.
