I need to create an ebook about the UGC industry; which AI do you recommend using? Is there a better one for this purpose?

I don't recommend using ai to write a book, you'll get a backlash, and the quality will be shit. You are better of writing something from your own experience, that you can type up in your own words first, (and fast) then spell and grammar check with ai only.

I do recommend publish wit Draft 2 digital though, you now have to pay a fee of $12 a year or something if you sell less than $100 of books, but you get a whole bonus of sites that they promote you with. There is nobody better to publish with ebook/paperback than them right now i think.

I'd recommend ChatGPT as the main tool—it’s great for outlining, writing, and refining an eBook. If you need extra research with sources, you can pair it with Perplexity AI.

I do not think a book created entirely by AI will attract a large audience; instead, you should use AI as a supplementary tool to refine the content if you want better results and a personal touch.

only using ai is not good, it will be quite generic and low quality, but if you insist on using ai for writing, then do not use chatgpt, use claude, and make sure you are good at prompting, because if you just say write me a ebook about ___ it will suck

If you are making one as a free hook, then go ahead and use AI

You need to do it step by step

Brain storm first (with AI). Create chapters on Chatgpt. Then go to Gemini, ask it for briefs, keep fine tuning the brief to add proper value. Next go to Claude with these data. Create the ebook chapter by chapter. You need to proof-read it and fine tune the final results. Then come back to Gemini and ask it to generate HTML version of the book(that properly formated).

Reason you keep shifting is because, AI is sharp with the first 3-4 prompts more you keep asking it on the same chat. It keeps running in circles

Personally am not anti AI. Because AI is here to stay, but it may evolve into something different than it is today. Human content will become a novelty, like handmade baskets or handmade woodwork. People over time will grow on AI once it is able to create flawless and accurate content

Reminder from the past

How are you going to market an ebook written by an AI?

"ChatGPT and Claude are probably the best options. Use AI for research and drafting, but add your own UGC insights and examples to make the ebook unique."

Yeah @indianmojojojo actually has a solid point about switching AIs because they do start looping after a few prompts.

i did something similar last year for a short guide on tiktok shop. if you want the ugc ebook to actually be useful and not just generic fluff, use claude but feed it real data first. go scrape some reddit threads or youtube transcripts of actual ugc creators talking about their workflows and paste that in as context before you ask it to write. otherwise the AI just writes the same basic "what is ugc" stuff that everyone already knows.

as for what @qdza asked about marketing it... honestly don't try to sell it as a standalone book on amazon. use it as a lead magnet to build an email list, or bundle it with some templates and run some cheap social ads. much easier to monetize that way than trying to sell a 30 page pdf on its own.

For an ebook about UGC I would use ChatGPT for research and outlining then add your own insights and examples. The best results usually come from combining AI with real industry knowledge instead of relying on AI to write everything.

I quite like using Claude premium with the project folders.

I am still messing about in this space but what I have found useful is to create an avatar with a backstory and a writing style.

This helps with it sounding more human.

Have the AI draw reference from this file when writing.

The previous suggestion of different AI’s is interesting. I have been given ChatGPT and Grok finished chapters for feedback and critical analysis.

As I say I am still playing about with it.

What I have found is that all AI’s struggles with full books.

They end up repeating themselves or forgetting details (even names).
