Tumblr doesn’t get talked about as much as other platforms, but some niches still seem active there.

Has anyone been using Tumblr recently for content, traffic, or building an audience? What’s working?

Some niches still see value in it. Tumblr isn’t a major traffic driver anymore, but it can still help with branding and building a small, engaged audience.

Yeah, Tumblr is quietly still great for niche audiences. I’ve been getting solid traffic and engagement by posting consistent aesthetic long-form content and using relevant tags.

It's definitely dead for mass traffic, but still alive for niche branding and indexing if you know what you're doing.

Quick question for the guys still using it, I lost the usernames and passwords for a few of my aged Tumblr accounts. Is it worth trying to recover them for the account age/trust, or just burn them and start fresh?"

Still works for fandom and adult niches if you post native gifs and reblog daily.

If you're into anything visual or community driven, it can work. Art. fandom, aesthetic blogs, that sort of thing. Gif and mood boards do way better than plain text. Also reblog others first, not just posting your own stuff. you need to engage with the community.

tumblr didnt evolve as other platforms did - so its traffic wained .

backlinks from Tumblr are generally low authority, so they don’t really help much with rankings on Google anymore.

In my opinion, Tumblr can still generate traffic, but you need to implement the right marketing strategy and tailor your approach to the platform's unique audience and culture.

No id say Tumblr is dead in the space it use to be huge.

tumblr still brings some traffic but its very niche dependent now
i used it for reposting content and got some long tail clicks but nothing huge
works better as a secondary channel not main one

Tumblr is dead man, there are better alternatives to biring traffic or build an audience like LinkedIn or YouTube.

Agreed I been saying not to ever depend on Tumblr especially these days.

i guess tumbler is not going to bring much traffic and it is totally up on what niche do you wanna work on if you mention your niche we may help better

I haven't heard about tumblr in a long time. No in the serps, not in socials. Not sure it works for shit anymore. I did a lot of botting there back in the day but not sure it does anything anymore.
