How do you really take a break from screens?

I spend way too much time at my desk and I know most of you do too. I usually try to unwind with games like Rust or Call of Duty, but lately that just feels like more screen fatigue.

I am looking for new ways to step away and completely reset my brain.

What is your favorite method to unplug after a heavy week? :)

Drop your habits below. I need some fresh ideas.
i go read a book
or take a nap
or go for a jog

When I need to take a rest from screens, I use a projector to keep brain rotting, but looking at the wall

My favorite reset is doing something that has zero screens involved.

A long walk, gym session, cycling or even just grabbing a coffee and sitting outside for an hour works surprisingly well.

Last coffe and observing part is my favo ever :)

Sounds cool right

Never been, insomnia kicking in all day, the best part is I'll start getting sleepy and sleep right after drinking redbull

It's not just screens but the hand grip on the phone and neck lurch at the TV or laptop/desktop screen. I like to lay down and go dark vision for a few minutes.

Start working out. Doesn't need to be a full blown strength training. Start slowly or find some physical activity.
Benefit: gives dopamine rush, can track progress over time, good for your health.

Instrad of erasing activities, I usually replace them. My plan for tomorrow is to replace screens with the book, 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.' Currently, it is the only physical book that I have; thus, after I have read it, I plan to read Classroom of the Elite's light novel on my phone.

Yes, a screen is a screen, but reading will still help my attention span more than nightcore music.
