Hey everyone
I recently came across a few artists still using Myspace as part of their music promo strategy, and it made me wonder is anyone here still active on Myspace or experimenting with it again?

I’m curious whether it still has any SEO or branding value in 2025, especially for music, blogs, or portfolio-type projects.

Would love to hear if anyone’s seen traffic, backlinks, or engagement from Myspace recently.

I’ve heard a few people use Myspace profiles mainly for backlinks or nostalgia branding, but I’m not sure it moves the needle for SEO anymore. Curious to see if anyone here has tested it recently.

Myspace still has a tiny but genuine niche presence in 2025, and while it’s nowhere near a major platform anymore, it can still offer a bit of branding value, light SEO benefit, and occasional engagement for music or portfolio projects if someone’s willing to treat it as a small bonus rather than a primary traffic source.

Myspace still exists, but it has zero real traffic now. Nobody uses it for music or promo anymore. It doesn’t give any SEO value either. Most artists only stick to TikTok, YouTube, IG, and Spotify tools now.

not quite zero but a round 1m visits a month. its on life support

Haven’t seen real traction from Myspace in years. It might give a small backlink but nothing meaningful for SEO or music promo in 2025.

It’s interesting to see Myspace pop up again, and while it’s no longer a major traffic driver, some creators still find modest branding value in using it as a niche archive or backlink source, especially when paired with consistent activity on more current platforms.

Yeah a few niche artists still use Myspace for music and promo, but it’s mostly small communities rather than big mainstream use.

I don't see Myspace delivering any significant results. It might generate a few small backlinks, but it won't promote music in 2025.

I have not seen much impact from Myspace lately. It might still help a bit for branding or diversification, but traffic and SEO value seem pretty limited now. Most people seem to focus more on platforms that are still active and getting regular engagement.

For SEO, I wouldn’t expect much from Myspace now. Maybe a small branded link, but not real traffic

Very few Myspace is pretty much deader than a doornail for music or promotion in 2025.

Honestly I feel Myspace is more like a legacy platform now. It’s still online, but not really part of modern traffic sources.

Tried a few dead platforms like this before. Barely got any traffic. I’d make a profile, drop a link, and move on

I still use MySpace to share my artwork, and it continues to receive a fairly good amount of engagement.
