Is It Better to Grow One Reddit Account or Build Multiple Niche Accounts?

As a beginner, I thought about creating separate Reddit accounts for different interests but that seems difficult to manage. The challenge I am facing is deciding where to invest my time. As a beginner, growing a Reddit account takes effort. Building karma and understanding subreddit rules also creating useful comments and staying active requires consistency.

If I create multiple accounts, I worry that:

• Progress on each account will be really slow.
• Managing multiple accounts will take a lot of time.
• If I do not do it right, my activity might look fake.

If a subreddit does not respond well to my content or if I make mistakes, all my work is tied to one profile. So I would really like to hear from people who have complete knowledge about reddit. I would like to ask:

• Did you start with one Reddit account or multiple accounts?
• At what point does it make sense to create niche-specific accounts?
• Is it easier to build credibility with one account first?
• Have multiple accounts helped you reach different audiences more effectively?

I'd start with one account. It's much easier to build karma, learn subreddit cultures, and establish credibility when all your activity is in one place. Multiple accounts can make sense later if you have very different interests or want to keep certain topics separate, but as a beginner, managing several accounts usually spreads your time too thin. Focus on being genuinely helpful and consistent first—the audience will come naturally.

First understand reddit and then understand subreddits.

It is really important for you to have multiple accounts but that doesn't mean you need to manage all of them at once.

I would suggest use one or two accounts per niche. Its not about investing time in subreddit, its about showing reddit that you are interested in this niche and you are a genuine account. With that if one subreddit doesn't works you can jump to another one. Also learning rules of subreddit isn't that much hard, you just copy paste their posting patters, rules book, wikipage and you will know all about their rules whatever you want to know.

But yeah investing time in particular niche with particular accounts in important.

as a beginner, i think both approached can work but i would like to focus on growing one account with consistency and patience.
