So i want to start a newsletter business, and i want to ask please, at what point or amount of subscribers i should expect to make some income from this ? Also what are the best way to grow the news letter at start known that i don t have any social media platform audience, and how much i need to spend on it before i can expect any return please?

And thank you so much for your help and time.

Newsletters exist to serve an audience, not to magically create one.

Before worrying about subscriber count or monetization, figure out who you want your audience to be, what value you provide to them, and why they should subscribe to you specifically. An audience of fifty decision-makers in a narrow commercial niche can be far more valuable than a generic audience of ten thousand.

You need to have an engaged community. For example, on Instagram expect to have at least 100k for it to be profitable. It doesn't cost much to create/. Perhaps 400 dollars or something.

That's a good point thank you, but i was trying to get general idea, because the point you mentioned are also applied for a youtube channel or any other platform.

I don't have a community, and i don't want to work on Instagram i want to start a end letter, it is better for me.

You need to know how to do SEO, or have enough money to pay for it; otherwise, it will be very difficult for you to succeed in this business.

Exactly my point. The platform is largely irrelevant, what matters is the value you provide, and the quality of your audience.

If you're writing about chicken farming, an audience of 50k NYC apartment renters would be close to worthless. But if you're writing about cybersecurity compliance, an audience of only a few thousand IT decision-makers could generate meaningful revenue.

I think you first need to build an Instagram channel with a certain number of followers to promote your posts before you can start making money.
