I own a gambling casino website and I'm currently working on improving its SEO I have been approached by a few website owners offering guest posts and sitewide footer links

I am not sure which option is better in the long run Some people say guest posts are safer and more relevant while others claim footer links can help because they are placed across the entire website

Has anyone here tested guest posts vs footer links for gambling websites recently? Which one gave better results, and are there any risks I should be aware of?

I'd appreciate hearing real experiences before making a decision

Thanks

Guest posts are definitely safer and better for the long run. Footer links give a massive spike because they are sitewide, but Google filters them easily and they carry a high footprint risk for gambling sites. Contextual links inside relevant posts win every time. :)

I'd choice a niche relevant guest post every time. Quality contextual links have consistency out performed site wide footer links in my experience.
