This is the official ''abuse time'', there is no mod online (everyday is like that recently)

BHW needs to fix this as soon as possible.
Everyday this forum is being abused at this time. Like 1-3AM (UTC +1). For people like me, who are not in Europe, it's not 2am, so we come here and the forum is controlled by scammers/spammers. You can report their garbage, the answers of the reports will come several hours later.

Most people are sleeping, there is no mod online (if there are, they are not working) and then the rats are coming out of their sewer to spam garbage and control BHW for a few hours, until someone wakes up and delete all the spam that remained active for hours.

Scammers already realized that, they can do whatever they want in the last few days at this time, their posts remain for a significant amount of time, probably enough to lure some newbies.

Examples:

Everyday this guy appears to post this shit to install malware into newbie's PCs. It's not the first day or the second one. I won't even post the link, as this thread will be deleted soon, but everyday it's here.



This was a few days ago, someone basically controlled the whole forum front page for hours. 11 spam posts in a row, they were in the main page of BHW for an hour and remained available for +2/3 hours until they were finally deleted.




I guess BHW needs more mods in different timezones

I'm not complaining about the current mods, they also need to sleep like any human being, but there is a loophole being daily exploited here

Hire some mods from Latin America or the US/Canada to deal with that, the european mods deserve a rest, but at the same time, the forum can't become a wild lawless land for 2-3 hours per day

Still active. I guess there are 3-4 hours of unmoderated forum here

I have also noticed some partners with the same post topics just being repeated daily and it's most likely the same person doing it, or some other people blindly copying and pasting old posts from a few days or weeks ago and posting them again as fresh posts

It's usually new accounts that registered a day or two ago, so it's most likely someone is just warming up those accounts because those posts still get comments on them

I've seen this "$500-$3000/Month for Turning Your PC On & Off" thread at least 10 times in the past 5 days from different accounts.

During the daytime, these get nuked pretty fast, but I wasn't aware they stayed up this long at night.

We've looked into it and moderators were around and doing things. The users in these situations have been taken care of. This is why the report button is important. We don't know what we can't see. If one of the threads is reported, someone can respond to it.

We are, of course, always looking for ways to respond faster and we'll never not aim to be faster. We're constantly talking about spam and how to get ahead of it vs. playing wack-a-mole. So we hear you, but please, please, please use that report button on at least 1 of the spam threads/posts.
