Hello.
Couple of years ago I built SMS gateways with cheap but reliable hardware from aliexpress for my local crypto account farm. Messages are forwarded to Telegram user via bot.
Do you think will it be worth starting OTP service and scale it as I am done with my farm?
Location is Ukraine
Having doubts about ukrainian numbers nowadays
All sim cards are physical. System can be scaled quite quickly.

How reliable is the infrastructure? In the news, I read about daily power cuts and restrictions, as well as internet outages.

What is your target audience? A UA-OPT doesn't really sound attractive for business or private use.

2 providers via fiber optics and GSM modem
UPS inverter with lifepo batteries can power couple of days.
In addition zabbix monitoring configured so I can see the overall system status along with each modem status and get alerts if something goes wrong

Could be worth it, but success depends on carrier stability, SIM rotation, and whether platforms accept Ukrainian numbers. Many services block SIM farms now, so scaling can be tricky.

For comparison, I’ve seen people use sms-man since it’s easier and already optimized for OTP delivery.

hard to find reliable ones lately that aren't already flagged. usually better to pay a bit more for private pools if you're doing serious automation

Honestly, the hardware isn’t the hard part. I’d first check if there’s still enough demand for Ukrainian numbers before putting time into scaling it.
