What is the best business I should start in 2026 with a budget of $1000 and working a full time job, which can scale good and I can expect to earn a good amount. I am tech savy and good with computers, softwares etc.

Your guidance is appreciated, thank you!

Invest in sales skills
Be a good closer
Use same skills to launch your own business

Tech skill are a bid advantage here. I'd start with a service you can sell quickly build cash flow than scale to something bigger.
Hi thank you friend, can you give me some examples of tech skills that I can sell as a service?

Hi friend thank you. In my previous job I did some upselling (have some sales experience), but for business is a ecommerce website good in 2026? reselling products with a profit margin?

The best business to start is a freelance development or automation agency specializing in building custom software integrations or web scraping tools for local businesses. You can use modern low-code platforms and AI development tools to build prototypes rapidly without high startup costs. This fits perfectly around a full-time job and allows you to scale by transitioning clients into monthly technical support retainers.

I think that since you already have a full-time job, affiliate marketing would be a better fit for you. It offers more flexibility and can be a good way to generate additional income alongside your regular job.

For automation workflows, you can use platforms like n8n or Make, which allow you to connect different apps and run AI agents without deep programming. For building custom web apps or scraping tools quickly, you can look into AI code editors like Cursor or prompt builders like Lovable and Replit.

You really only need around ten to fifteen hours a week outside of your job to learn these and build a prototype. While I cannot commit to personal one-on-one help, I am very happy to answer any specific questions you post here in this thread.

I have a blog site with like 30 blogs, I have very less visitors though not sure if the blog idea would work. Am I doing antthing wrong? My niche is fitness for working adults.

There is no single "best" method. Just pick one model (SEO, Ads, or Affiliate) and master it.
