Hello everyone,

I'm a developer and I'm building a Chrome extension that helps Facebook group owners like coaches, consultants, or any group owner who uses a questionnaire before accepting member requests.

My Chrome extension automatically approves all the group requests and exports them to a Google Sheet with their emails and all the info they submitted. It saves a lot of manual work like copying emails one by one and adding them to your email list.

The market is already proven and validated. There are two competitors who already have over 12,000 active users paying $25 to $30 per month.

I'm currently building it and it will be ready in 3 to 4 days.

Would you be interested in partnering up? I can pay you 50% of all your customers' lifetime value. Your customers pay every single month, so you can keep compounding your earnings by adding new customers each month.

Please let me know if this is something you would like to promote.

Thanks

Seems like a great product. I just want to understand, like the extension works in real time or you need to open the page on facebook where you can see all the answers and then it scrapes all the answers and then works in the background to add people in the list ?

Is that so or its something like using meta api or so to get data ?

Basically, you need to open the page where all the requests are, and that's because the group owners usually accept all the requests at once. Like, I have been into the SMMA and the coaching industry and the people basically who operate Facebook groups and gain customers to Facebook groups and nurture them there, they usually accept it once in a day. Maybe they have like 200, 300 requests per day when they do it, and they have the option to add a Google Sheet Link and all the emails and all the info they want get extracted to the Google Sheet instantly. Many group owners still do it manually or they hire a virtual assistant and that either costs them like money, like more money or it costs them a lot of time. So, that's that's the thing.

Great, I am curious about is how you're handling Facebook's policies around collecting member data and whether there are any safeguard s to prevent accounts from running into issues

Also, what would you say is the biggest advantage of your tool compared to the current options on the market?

Being transparent, Facebook doesn't allow scraping and automatic request accepting. But for scraping, I have a way around. We are not technically scraping. And even for the approvals, we have kind of like pushed it onto the customer side and I will explain how....

So basically for the scraping part, we have kept it simple. We are not scraping the profile or photos (Scraping profiles is prohibited.), we aren't actually performing the scraping activity. I have built the code in a way that we are just copying the emails from the answers but we are not scraping any profiles. We are just copying the emails they have answered in the questionnaire and like pasting it to the Google Sheets.

And to accept the request, we give them an option to add a random time delay. They can set it anywhere between 15 to 20 seconds, 30 seconds or anywhere like that. And we are not directly calling the APIs or something through a backend server. Everything is happening through the client's browser and we try to humanize it. But yes, we have like pushed it on the client by enabling them to add random time delays.

That's pretty interesting, we own inflowave.io I think there's some room for us to work together!
