For those who got hit by recent core updates and managed to bounce back—did u do it purely by fixin content decay and internal linkin, or did u have to blast new links? How long did the recovery take, and what was the exact turning point for ur traffic?

From what I've seen, most recoveries came from improving content quality, fixing search intent, and strengthening internal linking rather than building lots of new backlinks. Recovery usually isn't instant, it can take a few weeks to a few months, often after Google recrawls the updated pages and the next core update or refresh. The biggest turning point is usually when the content genuinely becomes more helpful than what was there before.

seen a few recoveries without new links but it is usually not instant. most of the time it comes back slowly after improving content quality, intent match and internal linking. if links were part of it then they helped more as a supporting signal rather than the main fix.
