cursor is great honestly
if they help improve their composer agent, not asking it to be on par with opus or mythos but something as good as high sonnet with cursor credit system
i can't see their company fail.

Antropic doesn't have that kind of money. They spent 60 billion on a cursor acquisition, and they've made a lot of money on their IPO, so that is why it makes sense. Also, elon xai models have been lacking and lagging on the software development frontier. They've been losing to ChatGPT and to open AI and Antropic models, so they want to base it. It's basically like an aqua hire. They hired a bunch of great engineers from cursor, who already fine-tuned some great coding models based on open source from China. I think they're just going to be developing new models for x AI, and they would build coding models coordinations similar to what Claude built with their cloud called service.
