I only drink once every 6 months.

But the only time I am truly happy is: when I drink alcohol. Like right now.

So that means, nuclearrap is happy only twice a year. Pathetic.

Maybe it is time to be an alcoholic? Now I understand 24/7 drunk people.

My life is full of pain, man.

there are better things to get addicted to than alcohol. B4 you do, just look at videos of people who have fallen into it, then you will know why it is the worst

I've offered you a solution some months ago via DM... maybe it will work, maybe it won't, but it's worth trying it instead of fishing for sympathy here from people who don't know your problems.
Fuck sympathy shit, man. Who would ever think that nuclearrap would be looking for something like that.

yeah, that might have not been the best phrasing, but I didn't know how else to word it, sorry about that!

But just go back to my DM if you still have it, and put that info to work, it could have helped a great deal by now had you put it to use for several months.

Where drugs or doctors can't help auto-hypnosis might just prove to be the best cure, especially for atrocious pain. I know this from first-hand experience as I've been a tri-gemini pain sufferer for decades myself, and quite a few times a strong willpower, combined with few auto-suggestion formulae repeated in my most painful moments have helped me soothe the pain, so I know that this stuff works, you just have to WANT to do it, and to also DO it. Consistently! (at least 20-30 minutes a day, although I recommend 1-2 hours a day)

In my case reflexo-therapy (basically, foot massage) has also helped, I've done reflexo therapy twice per week for 11 years (1 hour every every 3-4 days), and nowadays - providing that I keep away from currents / strong airflows or winds, or don't go outside right after I shower - I have no problems with this otherwise brutally painful pain anymore (look up the Tri-gemini nerve pain, it's one of the most painful types of pain that you can experience, some say that it's even more intense than the pain that women suffer during labour, which I tend to agree with since quite a few times I've woken up completely unconscious from such pain, so I know how atrocious it can be...)

Anyway, just go back to my DM and do something with the info I've given you (last year I believe), it will really help if you take it seriously and do it consistently (and not only you feel pain either, just make a habit out of performing those suggestions daily and it will pay off eventually)

Perhaps you’re not even really drinking for enjoyment, you’re just trying to escape the pain.

If there’s no healthier alternative at the moment, it may be a good option temporarily, especially compared to other more harmful addictions...

I know it’s hard but believe me there’s other ways to be happy , go for a walk, go on tinder, play games, meet friends or family etc <3

Sorry to hear but you'll only add problems on top of your problems if you become alcoholic like ckd and other diseases.

Sister died from alcohol and a few friends are really struggling after a couple decades of heavy drinking. Any addiction is very unglamorous, I do not advise.

Alcohol is a really terrible drug for anyone with low self esteem or life issues, it will make them worse.

I know where you re coming from brother But relying on alcohol all the time will just make your situation ten times worse

Don’t waste this enlightenment trying to chase an instant high; identify the source of your misery and learn to build a better life that doesn’t require running away from. Hang in there brother

Anything that provides instant gratification can never become a long term solution. Work on the root cause of your pain.
I'd suggest you to try meditation and seek therapy.

Be careful what you wish for. What you want is the temporary feeling it gives you. But if you are actually an alcoholic, you cannot maintain that temporary feeling either because you will have a higher tolerance. (I am not AI, not sure why it suspects me.)

I am an alcoholic
To be honest I really enjoy it
I just hope that my body will not fail me when I'm older :)

A close relative died earlier this year from esophageal varices which was caused by liver cirrhosis. Guess how he got the cirrhosis.

He suffered for almost two years. The veins in the esophagus would rupture every few months and it'd take a lot of time and suffering to recover from it. He wasn't that old.
