Does buying backlinks hurt the site?
How can i check if they are spammy backlinks?
I have launched a new SaaS and im ranking organically but i was thinking to buy some backlinks.

It will not hurt the site if the source is quality and you build them at a natural velocity.

Biggest giveaway of a spammy backlink is a website with extreme OBL and small or no organic traffic.
These websites are used to being linked from and there will be many other links among yours.
On the page your link sits on and overall website.
From hundreds to thousands and more.

Great to hear that you have Sass and you are thinking about it how you can rank organically. Some low quality backlinks can hurt your site like pbn or spamming links without optimized content.

To rank the site there are many niche specified sites or general sites with good DA/PA score. That can help you to grow your site ranking strategically and more professional way.

Buying quality backlinks or authority guest posts definitely help you to grow your rank on serp. Thanks.
 
If they are low quality PBN backlinks it's highly likely that you will be penalized if doing this on a big scale.

Gradual link-building and with relevant backlinks win in the long-term.

hi sir, Does this mean that PBNs are no longer optimal for boosting our domain power? After all, statistically speaking, they make our domain look like it has been hit by spam.
Is there a way for me to continue optimizing the strength of my PBN?
 
Grabbing backlinks isnt always automatically bad, but weak or spammy links can mess with your site’s long game. Before you buy anything , look at how related the site is to your niche, whether it actually has real traffic, if the content quality is solid, how they handle outbound links, and what kind of reputation they’ve built over time. For a fresh SaaS product, it is usually wiser to chase meaningful, on-topic backlinks instead of going for cheap bulk packages that promise fast results but rarely deliver.
 
I would be careful with buying backlinks for a new saas a few relevant high-quality links can help but spammy links from link farms or low-quality sites can do more harm than good check the sites relevance traffic content quality and outbound links before spending any money
 
It is in Google's playbook to NOT buy backlinks. However, everyone does it.

The problem for your site or any other aged one for that matter is when the quality of the backlink is low.

I recommend not buying in bulk or at scale.

Analyze each domain you want a link from and see, as others mentioned here, if they link to million of other pages and have a spammy profile.

Your best bet for a new site is a PR stating you're launching a service or new feature, then authoritative newspapers that mention your website in a relevant topic for your niche.

Don't try shortcuts, play the slow game, it will pay off in dividents.

Initially, asses whether authority is the main chokepoint for your Saas service. Right from the begining, comparison, case studie, and integration may be more useful than link.

Buying backlinks can help, but spammy or irrelevant links can hurt rankings, so focus on quality and relevance over quantity.

If you are trying to launch a new SaaS, it is not worth pursuing backlinks solely for the sake of quantity. It make much more sense to target backlink that are relevant to your site.

Focus on relevant trusted sites and avoid Spammy links farms or automated network .
 
Be careful buying backlinks for a new SaaS. A few relevant quality links are worth more than lots of low-quality ones. Always check the site's relevance, traffic, and content first.
 
Buying backlinks isn't bad if they're from real, relevant sites. Spammy links usually come from PBNs, link farms, or sites with no organic traffic. Quality > quantity, especially for a new SaaS.
