Hi everyone. I saw on Threads that people are creating accounts and driving traffic to a dating offer. You can mostly find them here: https://www.threads.com/search?q=Sent%20you%20a%20friend%20request&serp_type=tags

I started wondering: how are they doing this? Their posts get reach, and the accounts don’t get banned five minutes after publishing.

I tried registering accounts through an antidetect browser, and even when the registration was successful, after the first post — as soon as it started getting an initial number of likes — the account was sent for verification.

How are they doing this, especially at such a large scale?

Nobody will tell you.

I've spoken to an owner of some high profile in-house dating offer this Year at the Affiliate Summit West in Vegas.

He mentioned that one of his biggest affiliates is able to drive a huge amount of (well performing) traffic this way.

Not talking threads only, but multiple platforms.

He himself had no clue how the affiliate does it (he sure had no reason to complain either).

Those people running at scale are just buying aged accounts and changing the profile info. If you use a brand new account and immediately drop links, the system will naturally ban you in a flash.
