Hey guys, I set up a Google Search Ads campaign for my real estate business. The campaign status shows Eligible but I'm getting zero impressions and zero clicks everything is blank. Billing is active and ads are approved. What could be the issue?

How long has it been since it was created?Agency account or your own account

can you please share more information about your campaign?

  1. Whats the targeting set to? (Clicks, conversions, etc.)
  2. Do you have any CPC or CPA price set?
  3. How long is the campaign approved and running?
  4. What keywords are you targeting? (check their monthly traffic volume in the keyword tool)

  1. Targeting is set to clicks
  2. Manual CPC, bids set to $1.00
  3. Campaign was approved about [ 5 days ago]

Has the agency's account or your own account been verified? And which keywords do you use, or rather which type?

Well, that 1$ CPC might be a culprit here… check keyword tool in google ads and tell me what the min and max price is for the keywords you are targeting. Don’t forget you don’t have any quality score yet and you may be forced to pay more initially.

Real estate business looks like a more expensive niche to me and I would completely drop the 1$ max bid you have set, let the campaign do its thing in the beginning and see the numbers.

Once you get at least a few conversions (which I hope you have correctly integrated) change the campaign to maximize conversions.

When was the account created?
This is the first campaign i will be running on the account even tho the account is not that new and the account is verified

Switch the keywords specifically to phrase match and enable manual CPC bidding. After that, write to support everything should start working.

Are you using a new account or an old account? If it's aged account, it's very likely that it has entered a dormant state.

This is a completely normal situation. This kind of account behavior is called a freeze.
It’s a period when your account has a hidden restriction on running ads and is waiting for a moderator or bot to review it. After the review, if everything is fine - the account will start spending again. If not, they may require additional verification, or in the worst case, issue a ban.

If it’s only been a week on a fresh account, zero impressions can still be that silent review/freeze thing, but I’d still check the boring stuff first: geo too tight, ad schedule, end date, keywords marked low search volume, and if Maximize Clicks has a bid cap still sitting around $1. Real estate search terms in most areas won’t even enter auction at that price, especially with no QS/history. I’d remove the bid cap for 24-48h, use phrase/exact on a few obvious buyer/seller terms, and check auction insights / keyword status. If still totally blank after that, then yeah support ticket because something is holding the account, not the campaign.

@ads studio since you switched to max clicks did you set a portfolio bid cap or is it completely open? if it is open and still getting zero impressions after a week on a new account it is definitely that silent review period @Rka420 mentioned. google does this to almost all new accounts running high cpc niches like real estate now. had a similar issue last month with a local lead gen campaign, took almost 10 days to finally start showing impressions. i would honestly just wait another 48 hours before touching anything else... changing settings too often just resets the system review anyway.
Ohhh thanks for this

If the ads are approved and billing is active, I'd start by checking the basics: bid strategy, budget, targeting, and keyword volume. I've seen campaigns sit at zero impressions because the keywords were too restrictive, match types were too narrow, or the target location was set incorrectly.

Also check the ad schedule, audience settings, and whether there are any conflicting exclusions. For real estate, competition can be pretty high in some areas, so low bids can also prevent ads from entering auctions.

The Ad Preview and Diagnosis tool is worth checking too. It can often show why your ads aren't being served.

Check your keyword match types and bidding strategy. If you're using exact match with a super low budget or your max CPC bid is too low for the real estate niche, Google won't serve the ads.
