What's one SEO tip that still works after all these years ?

Hi everyone,
SEO changes all the time, but what's one technique you've been using for years that still delivers results today ?
No matter how much SEO changes helping search engines understand content relationships and distributing authority across important pages continues to improve rankings. Combined with quality content and relevant backlinks,.

a few seo basics still work for me:
  • create content that fully answer the search query
  • use strong internal linking between related pages
  • target keywords with clear search intent
  • update old content instead of letting it go outdated
  • focus on getting relevant, quality backlinks rather than lots of random ones.

Delivering what the users are searching fo

Don’t waste your time keeping up with ever-changing algorithmic updates. Pages that directly give the answer to the question posed by the user continue getting rewarded by Google. Place your answer right in the opening 2 or 3 sentences, perfect for a featured snippet, and then go beyond in the following sentences.
Interesting approach. Have you noticed a higher chance of getting featured snippets when the answer is placed right at the beginning of the content ?

For me publishing content that actually satisfies search intent on a regular basis is still one of the most reliable techniques. Algorithms change, but helping users find exactly what they’re looking for tends to hold up over time.

One thing that has consistently worked for me is focusing on search intent and creating content that genuinely answers the query better than what's already ranking. Algorithms change, but useful content and strong internal linking have stood the test of time.

Good keyword research.
It still drives everything from content to rankings no matter how seo changes.

I want to know, how do you usually check if your content is matching the search intent before publishing it ?

publishing useful content and earning relevant, contextual backlinks.

seo has changed a lot, but these two things have never stopped working.

Consistent posting and updating old posts at least twice per week. This keeps your sites fresh and relevant and google notices that.

Consistency beats shortcuts. Quality content + niche-relevant links still deliver solid results.

can you guys give advices also about AI, because now google used her AI answers box instead of moving visitors to your website

For me, it's still all about search intent. I first male sure tyhe content answers what people are actually looking for. Then I add a dew relevant, quality backlinks instead of trying to build hundreds of random ones. I also update old articles every few months. It's a simple habit, but I have seen it help rankings more than chasing every new SEO trend.

What still works is common sense seo. Even when google has changed so much criteria for ranking, the basics have not changed. Like relevant good back links still provide value and help in ranking.

The other tool that I keep on using is to refresh my content based on the queries that the page ranks for, and not just to post new articles. Pages will rank for queries that we do not expect at all, and optimising these weak spots gives us more value than focusing on new keyword opportiunities.
