Some shorts reach 10k+ views while others don't even break 200. same style same niche of content. YouTube can feel random at times.
Yea, that's why testing is necessary, time of posting do matter most times.YouTube can feel random at times.
one thing that i found works is to correctly label the short before you upload. I mean seo optimizing the title of the video file before loading on YT, it is not much but videos with a name instead of a string of numbers seem to do better for me
True, they test what people stuck on and on what they swipe fastYT could be testing each Short with different audience slices and deciding quickly based on early retention and rewatches, aside from this you could be also doing your own testing for what time it is best for your audience
This is a better advice, it depends on your account and country sometimes, when the audience is consuming your content but I feel shorts behave differently or maybe YouTube itself is in test modeYea, that's why testing is necessary, time of posting do matter most times.
check ur channel's stats. I think it all has to do with retention (how long users keep watching the Short on average)Some shorts reach 10k+ views while others don't even break 200. same style same niche of content. YouTube can feel random at times.
Yes, TrueA small retention difference can turn 200 views into 20k views
yes, as i said earlier, the algorithm always throw that shorts in feed, which are actually binding people to screen, that's why we are able to see random shorts in feed, also they tried to test with asking for our opinion in end "did you like this recommendation"Honestly, youtube Shorts be acting weird. You post the same type of content, same style, same niche... one hits 10k+ views and the next one struggles to crack 200. The algorithm really wakes up and chooses chaos sometimes.
