Pinterest worth the effort?

I no longer spend too much time on Pinterest. Platforms like TikTok and Facebook tend to deliver results faster than Pinterest.

Pinterest is good for some niches. It also brings traffic from Google when images rank for some keywords.

So many platforms competing for attention, is pinterest still worth investing time in, or are you focusing elsewhere now?
Pinterest is good social app with traffics which are convertible and active, there are different niches pages on Pinterest to follow and interact with for traffic exchange or convert.

I'm actually focusing on Pinterest for my sites that are in niches that do well on the platform. Fron my experience it's easier and/or better than Google since you invest very little. Moreover you can have multiple accounts driving traffic.

for me no
traffic quality very bad
people from pinterest don't buy stuff
maybe i will try with ads

It’s still worth the effort in 2026 because it continues to drive long term search based traffic, especially for evergreen niches where content keeps performing over time.

Some people are shifting focus to faster platforms, but Pinterest still has advantage because content can keep getting impressions for months without constant posting.

It's worth investing time in it because many pins drive traffic for YEARS after being posted.

with 600 million monthly active users the potemtial is still there

I think pinterest is still good if your content matches the audience there. It feels more like a search engine than social media to me.

I still think Pinterest is worth it, especially if you're in niches like home decor, fashion, food, DIY, or anything with strong visual appeal.

I like Pinterest. It is simple to use, direct links are available from it, and it is very good for traffic for years.
But I would not use it as the main source of traffic. I spend only about 10 percent of my time on it for my car site, but it still brings visitors, although not massively.

Pinterest is not fast dopamine like TikTok. It’s slower, but the content can live way longer

dont see how much traffic has pinterest. see your piece of cake. If you are able to get traffic to your site with it, what is the problem.
try if it work. If work then proceed otherwise leave it and move to other sources for traffic
But pinterest traffic is still there not upto the same extent as it was before. but nothing bad if it is worth the effort

Yes printerest woths the effort for a certain niche. The traffic is slower than instagram or TikTok but get visitors contentiously

the thing that flips it for people: pinterest isn't social, it's a visual search engine. a pin can still pull traffic a year after you post it, which no instagram post ever does. two catches though. it's slow, weeks before a pin gets going, so most people quit right before it would've worked. and it only pays off if your niche has visual + search intent, recipes, decor, fashion, products, how-to. if it's b2b or anything abstract it's a waste of time. what niche are you thinking of putting on it?

I still think Pinterest is worth it for the niches like blogging, home, DIY, food, fashion, and affiliate marketing because content can generate traffic for months or even years.

That said, if I wanted faster results, I'd probably focus on LinkedIn, Youtube, or SEO first. Pinterest works best as a long-term traffic channel rather than a quick-win platform

Pinterest is one of the few platforms where a post can keep working for you months later, turning today's effort into tomorrow's traffic.
