Every day I see so many many AI content I even get bored about that, from videos, articles, images to social posts

Do you think the real need in 2026 is getting people to care about the content, not only creating it?

I think that's exactly where things are heading. Creating content is becoming cheaper and easier every month. Attention and trust are becoming the scarce resources. Most people don't have a content creation problem anymore. They have a distribution and engagement problem. In a world flooded with AI generated content, the people who can make others stop scrolling, pay attention, and actually care will probably have the biggest advantage.

For many industries and fields this has all probably happened over night. I think my feed is maybe 50% ai content on X but maybe more. I don't think it's as big of a problem though as some are. In the end humans adapt and get used to it, it's not spam its slop, and you ignore it and move on. But that doesn't change the game fundamentally. AI can help with content creation but being creative is something it really struggles with I think. Instead using it for creativity is probably where people get huge wins.

I don't know about the question but I totally hate the stupid articles that I read many times looking for legit content on a subject and it is those same stupid AI generated cartoon looking images and articles that don't answer my question just half the article describing the question I am asking and the last giving some useless truisms about it.

I stopped doing marketing about the time AI was just starting to become popular with marketers, maybe 4-5 years ago. Must be really wild now trying to compete with that nonsense.

Also if all the huge billionaires are churning out their own AI slop on the platforms they own then how do you compete with THAT? grok on X and whatever else.

Yup. You are right. Now a days content isn't the bottleneck, the attention you get is.
The challenge now is can you create content that people want to consume?

totally agree, content is becoming really commodity. our challenge now is getting attention and keeping it long enough for people to care haha but yah wrap ppl's attention is a hard working effort

agree bro, everyone can generate content now. we have to shift a better strategy from distribution, retention to trust to win a market
agree with u, we have to put many effort now for content strategy not like 1-2 years ago haiz

They have biggest advantage and even bigger pockets because they know what they're doing.

There should be some sort of action on this especially videos. Such videos are misleading and impact children's also.

That's why platforms now attach labels such as "Contains AI-generated content" or "Made with AI". But at the same time, they're also using AI systems to evaluate and detect AI content, images, and videos.

I think so. Creating content is no longer the difficult part because AI can generate huge amounts of it in few minutes. The real challenge now is getting people to stop scrolling and actually pay attention. In 2026 authenticity, unique experiences and genuine insights seem far more valuable than simple publishing more content.

I'm going to have to disagree with the masses here. While I do agree, there is quite a bit of AI content out there currently, I dont believe that the entire "content" market is completely saturated quite yet. Generalized niching isnt going to cut it on these platforms anymore. Drilling down is where the money is. There are PLENTY of subniches and microniches that are 100% AI generated and are receiving 500k< views within a 12 to 18 month timeframe off of a single video. I also feel like the reason we have so much content "slop", so to speak, is due to the person generating the AI content is shitty at prompt engineering and doesn't know best practice for avoiding hallucinations. Most folks pop in a 3 to 4 sentence (if they're feeling ambitious) prompt, generate the content and then slap it up on the web. AI is here to be used as a tool FOR the creator not to behave as the creator itself. If I found a successful YouTube channel and used AI to replicate the framework, the color psychology and font placement psychology within the thumbnail, generate similar thumbnail graphics, use a similar voice tone and speed, find the "hooks" within the video, any Calls to Action, and AI was able to analyze all of those things about a NEW and SUCCESSFUL channel and provide you that data....why would your video/channel not be successful as well? Food for thought.....successful work takes work.

Even before AI - there was more content being created than people can consume, AI just amplified it.

You can tell when content is written with AI and has barely been edited - it's repetitive, the writing style is overly formal with punctuation most people wouldn't use. It rarely goes into detail, it's often surface-level on a topic without expounding.

As AI slop becomes more prevalent I believe human written content will be a premium.
