Why are my answers getting upvotes but no profile visits?

Hi,

I am working on quora and noticed that some of my Quora answers receive a decent number of upvotes, which suggests people find them helpful. However, very few users seem to visit my profile, follow me, or click through to learn more about what I do.

Any advice...

I am also working on Quora from long time. In my experience upvotes and profiles visits are two different things. people may appreciate an answer an upvote it, but they would not always feel a reason to check your profile.

I also seeing that Answers which solve a problem completely often get upvotes , while answers that share unique experience tend to generate more profile visits and followers.

According to my personal experience, upvotes and profile visits are two different things on Quora. People will upvote an answer if it helps them, but they usually only visit a profile when they see a reason to learn more about the author. If your answer are solving the question but not demonstrating your expertise or unique perspective, readers may appreciate the content without feeling the need to click through.

I have found that sharing personal insights, case studies or real experiences tends to generate more profile visits than generic informational answers. Also, having a clear and optimized profile make a big difference when people do decide to check who wrote the answer.

That makes sense. I am curious though, when you say personal insights and real experiences help drive profile visits, do you intentionally include them in every answer, or only when they are directly relevant to the question

I think that is perfectly normal. People rarely visit profiles of answer providers. It's nothing strange.
