Google is just favoring reddit and massive authority sites for almost every decent keyword. @lionsteel is on the right track with social but you dont have to just be an influencer. i ran a micro travel site last year and the only way i got quick traffic was hijacking trends on tt and pinterest to drive them to my affiliate offers. if you want to do pure seo you probably need an expired domain with some existing power otherwise you will be waiting a long time to see any real traffic.

SEO is still king in 2026, but tossing some personality into posts keeps people actually reading and coming back.
