Trying to get information on if anyone offers services for this? Ones that are selling prohibited services. The reddit admins tell me that what these subreddits are doing are a violation and to report using the zendesk support system. I do this. Weeks go by, nothing is done to actually close the subreddits.

Paying for "subreddit banning services" sounds super sketch, your best bet is probably just to keep hammering Zendesk with reports and maybe encourage others to do the same

I sent 3 tickets in 2 months. Think it's okay to send more?

Should add that the actual content reddit admins are saying we should definitely report this for takedown and nothing is actually done on the admin backend side. The content admins even tried to report the posts themselves but nothing is done.

Maybe the owner of sub-reddit knows how to "cloak" its subreddit, so reddit itself don't look the subreddit violate reddit's tos

depending on how many moderators the subreddit has, it might be the move to get the owner and his other accounts that are mods banned.

I heard a story about a large subreddit being blocked due to subscriber fraud. Competitors orchestrated the block. It quickly gained around 50,000 subscribers. This was deemed fraudulent and the subreddit was permanently blocked. Building that many subscribers would be expensive, so it's worth considering the real benefits of blocking.

Mass report through several microworkers, basic requirement: old accounts with some activity, not newly created

Didn't work. We tried alot of tickets they never followed up on them. I would say at least 50+ times over a 6 month span asking high karma accounts to report, people active.

However just an update.

The subreddit was finally been banned early last week.

I reached out to a specific Reddit Admin via DM recommended and he took care of the reports we filed. He also took care of other tasks we reported.

I have been able to get a couple dozen subreddits removed now over the last couple months.

I have some specific contacts that are Reddit Admins. Whatever those reddit admins are doing, they seem to prioritize my issues so I am grateful for this.

I do not have direct experience with subreddits getting banned but from what I learn through my experience, subreddits can face issues when they repeatedly violate rules.
