Hi guys,

I am new on Fiverr and offering guest posting services, I wanna create my first gig but I am confused about keyword research. Right now I am just using random keywords like:
  • guest post service
  • backlinks
  • SEO guest posting
But this is not working. So, I have some questions:
  1. How do you do keyword research for Fiverr gigs?
  2. For example: health niche, what keywords actually work?
Any simple guidance would really help me, Thanks.

When I was doing the same thing, selling guest post on fiverr I used semrush to find what people are searching. This is not one to one correlation between fiverr and semrush keyword research but its pretty close. What people search on Google there is high chance they will search same thing on fiverr.
For example, I remember people search for;
Fashion guest post
Beauty guest post
So I would create a gig about
Fashion beauty makeup guest post
I stuffed as many related topics as I could.
One gig for tech
One for travel
Etc
Etc

i had the same issue when i first started.
i was using very generic keywords and my gigs barely got any impressions.
what worked better for me was using more specific keywords based on what top gigs in my niche were targeting.
it took some trial and error but niche focused keywords performed much better than broad one.

Thanks for sharing. Can you please explain your Semrush process in more detail?

go to semrush --> keyword magic tool and search guest post. Pretty straight forward.
Then try to filter out keywords that are not buyer intent.
for example:
how to write guest post
is not buyer intent

travel guest posts
is buyer intent.

Avoid those broad keywords because the competition is way too high for a new account. Instead, use Fiverr's search bar autocomplete to find long tail buyer phrases like high da health guest post or health blog backlinks. Check the top ranking sellers in your niche, look at the bottom of their gigs to see their specific tags, and use those in your title and metadata. :)
