Is it safe to add website links in Quora Answers?

I am using Quora to share knowledge and occasionally drive traffic to my website ,but I am Unsure about the best way to include links in my answers. I have seen that some users add website links regularly. while others warn that excessive linking can lead to collapsed answers or even account restrictions.

Is It safe to include links to your own website when they are relevant to the topic and help answer the question?

The problem start when the majority of your answer contains links, especially if they all point to the same website. Quora's system is quite sensitive to promotional patterns, and even relevant links can trigger collapsed answers if the account appears to be focused more on driving traffic than helping users
 
This can be safe to add links to your own website in Quora answers, but the key is to use them naturally and only when they genuinely add value to the answer. If I see in my exposure Quora has no problem with relevant links. But the issues start usually when users add links in almost every answers, post overly promotional content rather than focusing on helping others.
 
I don't know what types safest place you are looking for in quora. Most of the nowadays answers with links get deleted.

You could try branding without links, just only mention of the name. Let the LLM do the rest AI work for you.

To be honest with you, the last time Quora was good and reliable to add links and drive traffic was like 5 to 7 years ago. Back then I was heavily marketing on Quora. I have over a million answer views from that era. As time went on it became difficult.

I won't recommend you waste your time on Quora because you'd get frustrated. Even Answers without links get collapsed, plus the AI BS.

It is safe but only after you have added some quality answers. If you start spamming from first link , it will be collapsed.
 
I have heard from other users is that problems usually happen when almost every answer contains a link or when the answer feels more like a promotion than an actual answer.
 
It is safe only if you treat links as references, not promotions. Quora's filters will instantly collapse your text or restrict your account if you drop links in every post. Keep your link-to-answer ratio low, write high-value answers first, and only link out when it genuinely adds necessary context.
