Why was my Quora Answer collapsed?

I am trying to understand that why my Quora answer was recently collapsed. The answer was relevant to the question, written in detail and did not contain any offensive content. However It is now hidden unless user choose to expand it. Are they any practices for preventing answers form being collapsed in the future?

We have been aggressively promoting on Quora and yes the Quora answer getting collapsed were the real issue for us too. There can be several reasons If it seems relevant and well written. And in my experience the most common reasons are excessive promotion, adding links that appear self serving answering too many similar questions with nearly identical content, low engagement, or content that does not address the question.

I've seen answers get collapsed even when they're relevant. Sometimes it's due to links, repetitive posting patterns, or Quora's automated quality filters rather than the actual content quality.

Spam, ai content, links, promotion, quora uses algorithm and collapses the answer automatically. Before mods use to do it manually. Not much you can do if you are doing one of these other than not do it.

What I have learned through my experiences is that answers with lack of detail and originality or useful content are the one getting collapsed

maybe your content contains certain keywords that Quora flags as spam. It might also come across as self promotion for your brand or Quora's system may have detected it as ai content.
