Hello everyone,

I recently launched a multilingual website to watch World Cup channels and matches, available in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic.

I've already worked on search engine optimization (SEO).
However, I feel that SEO alone isn't enough, especially in such a competitive sector where time is of the essence.

I would greatly appreciate advice from people with experience in generating traffic for sports, event, or multilingual websites.
What would you recommend in addition to SEO?

Thanks in advance!

For this type of website, speed matters more than rankings

I would probably focus on Telegram/WhatsApp communities, Social media for real time updates, Fast publishing of news, predictions, and match analysis,

Please try to build a audience that will keep coming back to you during tournament.

For live sports and event-based niches, relying solely on standard SEO is a losing battle because of the micro-window of opportunity. The moment the referee blows the whistle, search intent shifts drastically from Google search to real-time discovery on social platforms.

The fastest traffic for streaming usually comes from automated parasite setups during match hours. Mass-generating automated posts on X (Twitter) using match-specific hashtags right before kick-off, combined with localized pre-landers, yields immediate spikes. Another massive funnel is running short, automated YouTube/TikTok lives showing a static scoreboard placeholder that redirects users to a Telegram channel acting as your main traffic buffer. This setup completely sidesteps immediate DMCA takedowns on your main domain during the peak hours.

Focus on SEO, localized content, social media highlights, and partnerships with sports communities to attract traffic across multiple languages.
