Where to buy domain + website building + emails

namecheap auctions are my favorite. you can get bombshells for $20 sometimes

I suggest to buy domain and hosting on two differents platforms.
Registars give full DNS management and you can switch easily different web hosting providers. I'm fine with Dyandot/SAV.
Then I bought multiple DirectAdmin reseller hostings at good price and I'm happy with my minisites.
Hostinger is a good suggestion if you don't want to go cheap and you can host also multiple domains.

For more flexibility, I would suggest that you keep the domain separate from hosting. You can go with registrars like Dynadot and SAV, which have full DNS control to change hosts without any hitches. DirectAdmin reseller plans offer good budget-friendly options for hosting in handling many minisites efficiently. Bisup also provides reseller hosting with both cPanel and DirectAdmin, but it totally depends on your choice to use it according to the cost and preference. Still, you will get white-label setup and WHM-style management.

It would also do well if you are looking for something easier and more beginner-friendly, with simple scaling options to suit many domains under one plan.

Id peep LuxHost for that. Domain setup is easy, hosting is solid, and u can go a bit higher tier and host a bunch of stuff yourself, including mailers. More control, less platform-hopping, but yeah, you gotta know what youre doing a bit

These are maybe overrated but I used them in past before I migrated to vps. Namecheap and Godaddy

Honestly the domain/hosting split everyone keeps mentioning is the right call, but one thing nobody said... watch the renewal pricing not the intro price. Namecheap and Hostinger both look cheap year one then jump on you. I keep domains at Namecheap mostly cause moving them out later is painless, and run hosting separate so im never locked in. @caecadic if youre just starting and only need one or two sites hostinger all in one is fine, dont overthink it yet. Scale into reseller stuff later when you actually have the volume to justify it.

Porkbun is worth checking too, not many mention it but renewals are usually sane and DNS is easy. I’d avoid buying everything from same place unless it’s just a throwaway test site. For 1-2 basic sites Hostinger is ok, for domains I’d go Namecheap/Porkbun/Dynadot, then later move hosting to a VPS or reseller when you actually need more control. Main trap is the “$2/month” promo... always check year 2 price.
