Hey everyone,
I'm running a gaming landing page and Instagram keeps
suspending my accounts whenever I put the link in my bio.
Currently getting hit with:
- Account restrictions (action blocks)
- Link placement blocks
- Follow/unfollow limits
- Reels suppressed when link is in bio
The page itself is solid:
✓ 19 premium game cards
✓ Professional design
✓ Mobile responsive
✓ Monetized with locker
My current strategy
- Instagram Reels
- Niche: Gaming content
- Traffic source: instagram focus + tiktok secondary
- Locker network: AdBlueMedia
- Tested on 3+ aged accounts +5 fresh(all hit)
What's getting blocked
- Direct URL in bio = Immediate restriction
- Linktree in bio = Still gets flagged
- QR codes in Reels = Content suppressed
- CTA mentions "link in bio" = Reach tanks
What I've tried
- Different account types (personal, creator, business)
- Link shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl)
- Waiting 24-48 hours between posts
- Using different payment methods
- VPN/proxy (still getting caught)
- Account warming/engagement pods
my question
Is Instagram just heavily cracking down on this traffic source, or am I missing
something with my setup?
Looking for feedback from others running similar campaigns. What's working
in 2026?
Thanks!
