Discussion Topic: Shakira vs IShowSpeed Who Has the Better FIFA 2026 Song?

I have seen a lot of debate currently going on FIFA 2026 song update.-

On one side you have shakira the most ironic FIFA world cup artist ever ( Waka Waka ) - https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=waka+waka+shakira
Generate Billions of views and still considered on of the best ever.

The current FIFA song by Shakira -
Which has already crossed millions of views..

This man, IShowSpeed, is genuinely making waves with his FIFA track. What started as a streamer creating content has turned into someone influencing football culture on a global scale. His World Cup (Champions) song gained massive traction and was even added to the official FIFA World Cup 2026 album, which is something very few content creators could have imagined a few years ago -

Is it viral moment foe Ishowspeed ? is he the next generational influencer will he be able to beat the records of shakira ??

IMO... Nothing still beats Waka Waka : D

NGL it was from Dylan Page I heard that Speed dropped a WC song and that it was being compared to Shakira's. That was what made me search for it on YT and I probably did not even watch up to a min of it before I closed it

I have nothing against Speed and respect the dude for how he has embraced football in his content but I just did not see how it's better than what I was used to with good old Shakira's Waka Waka.

Maybe the visibility the song gained is what actually brought up the comparison in the first place, but honestly Speed already has a huge following, so it would not be a big surprise for it to blow up with even more followers he has gained from the football world in the past years. I just do not think it's better

Maybe I went to search for his video that day with the wrong mindset though because I watched it with the Waka Waka comparison in mind and not even the new song from Shakira

But with this new Shakira song and Speed's own, it would not be fair for me to judge now that I know more context especially since I haven't even listened to or watched either of them completely : )

Even though I don't watch soccer matches, I really love this song, especially when I'm driving

To be honest every world cup song is great we cant be about choosing one but for me i love the shakira vs burna boy own

Waka Waka is one of those songs that never gets old. Doesn't even matter if you're a football fan or not, everybody knows it. :D

Let's be honest, Shakira won the World Cup song game years ago. Waka Waka still gets played today. Most FIFA songs disappear the second the tournament ends
