Where to find best products to promote

Stop copying others and start using tools to actually track real-time sales data so you know what's trending before everyone else does. Don't just follow the hype blindly, look for products with high conversion rates and solid creator momentum to save yourself the wasted effort.

Following trend is a good way to gain more views with TikTok shop. however, if you could build a strong audience. The story would be different, since you could introduce trend product and product that are suitable for your type of audience at the same time.

Both will have different factors for your audience to buy, but from my experience Trend product are good if you know how to persuade them to buy with your video idea. the other one is your audience, the more you could enage and understand with your audience, the higher chance that they will buy the product just because they like that story that you are telling them.

Not just copying others, I usually check trends and what’s already getting engagement, sometimes tools like Kalodata help too, but I still look at comments and real demand before picking a product.

I look for products that actually solve a daily problem or have wow factor. if it does not catch attention in 3 seconds, it is a bad product for me.

I think you can also take some inspiration from Chinese social media apps.:D:D
TikTok originally came from that ecosystem, and China’s short-video culture is very mature and advanced. Plus, many Chinese-made products are cheap but well-designed, which makes them very suitable for promotion and content testing.

Don’t just copy creators. Use tools like Kalodata or TikTok Creative Center to spot trends, then validate products by checking engagement, comments, repeat purchases, and real problem solving value before promoting.

kalodata is okay but by the time a product trends on there the margins are already getting squeezed because everyone else is copying it. what works better is looking at what's blowing up on facebook ads library or even amazon movers and shakers, then checking if there's a tiktok shop listing for it with low affiliate activity. if you can find a supplier with fast shipping and rip/mix some creatives to test with spark ads, you'll get your answer way faster than waiting for data tools to update. most of the guys making real money do this instead of just staring at kalodata all day.

@Rankings Daily nailed the part most people miss here. kalodata is fine as a starting point but by the time something shows up trending the affiliate count is already high and your margin is gone.

What I do is look at the creator-to-GMV ratio like @okatana mentioned, but I also check how old the top videos are. if the best performing video is 3 months old and still selling, that tells me the product has legs and isnt just a one week spike. spike products die fast and you waste your testing budget chasing something thats already on the way down.

Comments are underrated too. people will straight up tell you what they want or what stopped them buying. saw a product last year where half the comments were asking if it came in a different color, supplier had it, nobody was running that angle yet. easy win.

Dont overthink the tools honestly. they all show you roughly the same data with a delay. the edge is in the angle and how fast you test, not which dashboard you stare at.

just follow the current trends, and focus on making your content better than everyone else. Also i dont agree you should not copy others, i believing copying has benefits, there is no need to remake the wheel. Do similar content to what others do, and add a unique twist to it

Use tools like Kalodata for research, but validate products by checking demand, engagement quality, competitor saturation, profit margin, and whether the product solves a real problem. The best products usually have proven demand but aren't yet heavily saturated.
