Is niche selection more important than content quality on YouTube?

Nah @fix3el you are looking at this like a creator, not a marketer. if you have a 10/10 video about some obscure hobby nobody cares about, you get zero views.

i ran a channel in the AI tools space last year with garbage robotic voiceovers and basic screen recordings. made decent money because the search volume was crazy and competition was low at the time. if i spent weeks editing those to look like a movie, the trend would have passed anyway.

niche sets your traffic ceiling and cpm. quality is just what you use to optimize conversion once the traffic is already there. you cant optimize zero views.

both are important. No matter what niche you pick, you still need to maintain the quality. Also you need to consider that some niches pay more than other so that is something you should consider
