If i created japan Tiktok beta (region japan ) , is it OK to post with home WiFi instead of VPN ?
Seen some users only create tiktok reward through region switch inside app while they are in other country .Afterward no VPN/proxies.

Whats is your experience

It depends on your luck. Many people have used it normally, but some have had their accounts locked immediately after switching.

If you post using your local home WiFi, your videos will either get stuck at 0 views (or distribute only to your local region)

No. I wrote that you need a SIM card and a high-quality proxy. Otherwise, you won't be able to grow your accounts and views to mainly geo.
 
It might work at first, but it's very easy to get banned and your view count will drop. You shouldn't use your home Wi-Fi; consider other network options or use a VPN or proxy.
 
As far as I know, TikTok mostly cares about your SIM, device location, and usage pattern, not just WiFi vs VPN.

Absolutely not. The moment you post via your home WiFi, TikTok reads your real ASN and DNS queries. The 'region switch' inside the app is just UI makeup. The algorithm sees your real ISP immediately. Even standard VPNs (like Wireguard/OpenVPN) will get you shadowbanned because DPI systems flag them as datacenter traffic.To do this safely, you need a hardware-level proxy setup or a VLESS tunnel routing your traffic through a clean Japanese Residential ISP proxy. Anything less is just burning your account.
 
Don’t use either, VPNs are mostly on spam flagged ISPs and can get your acc flagged. Use a good quality, clean mobile/4G proxy instead if you care about longevity.

why not use home wifi
 
Some users do it without VPN and have no issues, but results vary. For the best chance of keeping Japan targeting and features, it's safer to keep your IP and account settings consistent with Japan.
