Hey guys, I used to work as BD for an affiliate network. Part of my job was finding advertisers, signing deals with them, and then sending traffic from our media buyers / affiliates.
For many offers, it was actually pretty fun. Kind of like detective work lol. Usually I could find the right company by checking the landing page terms, privacy policy, registered company address, tracking URL, or even searching the campaign name on LinkedIn / Google.
But some offers, especially leadgen ones, are really hard to trace. No clear brand, no useful terms page, generic domain, hidden whois, and everything just leads to another form or prelander. Do you guys have any good methods for this?Example: 4.unlockmyrewardslocker.com/index-form.php
I’m not doing BD anymore, so this is more out of curiosity than actual work now. But I’m still wondering how people decode these kinds of offers when the funnel gives almost no clear clues.
