Hey guys, I’m new to affiliate marketing and looking for a vertical that’s beginner-friendly.
I’ve tried CC Submit but too many declines.

What’s working for you right now?
Which vertical has the best mix of easy approval + decent payout?

Any advice would be amazing.

Try sweepstakes (SOI). Easy to convert, low barrier, and you can test traffic fast.

Ecom and info products. You can generate first traffic for free and start working with it

Finance and health verticals are great if you want long-term value — but harder to get approved.

Crypto | finance good vertical, gembling its base ez aprrove and start working

How should I trigger the conversion conditions for SOI lottery-type offers? There was no conversion after filling in my email and other information.

I think beginners often focus too much on finding the easiest vertical and not enough on finding a vertical they can actually create useful content around. A mediocre offer in a niche you understand will usually outperform a great offer in a niche you know nothing about... I am sure about this, as people tend to sense if you are in there just for a quick buck...
If I were starting today, I'd look at software, SaaS, productivity tools, WordPress, AI or other products where you can create tutorials, reviews and case studies instead of relying purely on paid traffic. The barrier to entry is higher, but this kind of business is more sustainable on the long run.

For beginner I’d stay away from CC submit for now, declines will kill your mood fast. SOI sweeps/surveys are easier to get rolling, but don’t expect magic payouts... you make it work with volume and cheap traffic. @Shanna1918 some SOI lottery offers only fire after email submit + email confirm or valid phone, networks sometimes label it badly, so ask AM for exact trigger before testing. I had better luck starting with survey/sweeps in tier 2 geos than trying finance/crypto right away, less payout but also less headache.

SOI sweeps is probably your safest bet starting out, declines on CC submit will burn you out before you even learn anything. but i'd second the point about picking something you can actually build around. sweeps converts easy but it's a volume game, you need cheap traffic flowing and you're basically chasing pennies until you scale it.

for tier choice... tier2/tier3 geos on SOI are way more forgiving while you figure out what you're doing. lower payout sure but you're not gonna torch your budget testing.

on the lottery offer not firing, yeah thats usually a double optin thing or it needs a confirmed email/valid phone before it counts. networks label these so badly its not even funny. just ask your AM for the exact postback trigger before you waste spend, half the time the offer is fine and you were just testing it wrong.

finance/health pay more but honestly as a beginner the approval wall and compliance stuff will frustrate you more than help. learn the mechanics on something easy first imo.

I think the easiest vertical for beginners is often the one they already understand well Familiarity with the audience and topic can make learning marketing and content creation much easier than simply choosing a niche because it looks profitable

If you want easy approval + not totally trash payout, look at mobile app installs, VPN/utility offers, simple leadgen, and SOI sweeps in tier 2. Just don’t pick vertical only by payout, because a $1.20 SOI that actually converts can beat a $35 finance offer you never get approved for or can’t pass compliance. Also ask the AM straight what traffic they allow and what counts as conversion before sending traffic... saves alot of stupid testing. For first campaigns I’d rather learn tracking, angles, creatives and traffic quality on low payout stuff, then move into finance/health once you know what you’re doing.

Good breakdown above. For the specific verticals mentioned (SOI sweeps, mobile installs, VPN/utility, leadgen), worth noting the network choice matters almost as much as the vertical — some networks have much better fill/approval for beginners in these exact categories than others.

For SOI sweeps in tier 2/3, MyLead and CPAGrip tend to have broader inventory than the bigger names, with faster approval. For mobile app installs specifically, Mintegral or AppLovin if you want programmatic, but smaller beginner-friendly options like OGAds work fine for testing the mechanics first like someone mentioned above.

The AM-trigger-clarification advice mentioned multiple times in this thread is honestly the single best piece of advice here — most "this offer isn't converting" beginner problems trace back to not knowing the exact postback trigger before sending traffic

One thing nobody really hit on yet... before you even pick a vertical, look at what traffic source you can actually run cheap and consistent. Half the beginners I see jump into SOI sweeps then realize they got no real traffic plan and burn out anyway.

@Liu Mei the CC submit declines arent really a you problem btw, that vert just punishes new affs hard, dont take it personal. SOI is the right call to learn the mechanics, agree with most of the thread there.

But honestly the part that took me too long to learn... track everything from day one, even the dumb stuff. I ran sweeps for like 3 weeks early on thinking an offer was dead, turned out my postback was firing wrong the whole time and I just couldnt see it. So yeah what people said about asking the AM for the exact trigger, do that, but also dont trust the offer is broken until your tracking is clean.

Tier 2 SOI, cheap traffic, one offer, learn to read the data first. Payout comes later once you actually know whats happening.
