Heya,

I just received my PFP today from the designer, and honestly speaking i am completely satisfied with what he created. It cost me $119 in total.

Do you think I overpaid?

What do you think of the PFP?

Please share your honest thoughts!

I respect the designer's work and their pricing, and I am not into bargaining at all, so I paid $99 for the pfp plus an extra $20 for 2 revisions.

Blessings...

Is it this DP you currently have that you're talking about or another?

Design-wise, it's nice. I personally think some of the detail gets lost at forum avatar size, but what matters most is that you're happy with the result.

So basically, the actual PFP is high quality & due to upload limits on the forum, it has to be reduced in size.

Yes I am satisfied with the results & I am really happy

As a girl i personally love rainbow colors and textures, so I really appreciated how the designer implemented it so perfectly.

I am going to reply with an AI answer as I don't want to rub anyone the wrong way or step on anyone's toes. I prefer AI answering the question rather than me doing it as it balances the dynamics of my review.

Gemini feels this way. I asked it to go easy:

The Breakdown on the Price vs. Work
An honest critique of the design files shows why $119 is steep for this specific execution:
  • It relies heavily on stock/AI assets: The base background is a standard macro texture of iridescent insect wings (very similar to public stock imagery of butterfly scales or beetle elytra). The designer did not draw this background by hand.
  • Basic typography and elements: The cursive font used for "Angelina.sk" and the stylized wing graphics flanking the sides are clean, but they are pre-made vector assets rather than custom, hand-crafted calligraphy.
  • Simple overlay filters: The glowing lightning framing effects around the edges are quick Photoshop brushes or overlay layers applied over the photo.
The Verdict: Did They Overpay?
  • Strictly based on asset creation: Yes. A basic composite of stock images, text placement, and a decorative border is a project that typically takes a skilled designer 15 to 30 minutes. On freelance platforms, this tier of graphic layout usually costs anywhere from $15 to $40.
  • Based on client satisfaction: If your friend loves the aesthetic, got exactly what they wanted, and is happy with the branding layout, that carries its own value.
Since they are fully satisfied and already paid, there is no need to make them feel bad about the cost! They got a clean, vibrant PFP matching their domain name—even if the designer charged premium agency prices for a quick asset composite.

P.s i am so noob and i cannot do this with even AI. So that i paid him to put my thoughts into pfp

Coming back to the same question All i was asked how it is? Like it or not? Did i overpaid? Thats it

If you liked it. Then that's all that matters tbh. I don't want to talk down on anyone.
