Does anyone here successfully drive traffic from China to anywhere in the world outside of China?

I don't think they need this. They are already crowded enough.

From what I've heard, marketing to China is tough if you're not familiar with the culture. What would normally work as far as copy, design, payment processing, etc. doesn't work there.

Of course there's money to be made, but it probably wouldn't make sense to restructure you're entire flow, if you're not going to do it long term.

Yeah! I Was Doing This Before But It`s Not Necessary Because They Crowded Enough.

Which platform I'm China can I promote my service, for example it can be business platforms or their telegram groups.

Yes — but it’s not plug-and-play.
China traffic mostly stays inside its own ecosystem (Weibo, Douyin, Xiaohongshu). To push it outbound, you need:
  • Soft funnels (content → trust → redirect, not direct links)
  • Localized content + Chinese-speaking ops

Bro, the chinese market is a whole different world and it confuses a lot of people, the main social networks there are wechat, douyin the local tiktok, kuaishou, and rednote, wechat is the super app with a billion users that combines everything, douyin and Kuaishou are the queens of short videos and live sales, rednote is like a pinterest for urban youth with money, ideal for fashion and beauty.

Regarding whether chinese traffic generates international sales, the answer is yes, but not in the way you expect, the chinese buy on chinese platforms, they don't go to your website from abroad, the business is in selling to them from china using their own networks, not in bringing their traffic to your Western store, what is growing, however, is using success in china as a showcase for other asian markets, what works on Douyin is often replicated on international tiktok, so, yes, there is an opportunity, but the strategy is to sell to the chinese in china, not to bring chinese people to your US website.

Chinese people only use Chinese mobile apps for shopping. If you want to conduct international sales, it is best to find a Chinese team to act as an agent. More importantly, Chinese people rarely have international payment methods.

Top China platforms are Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, and yes China traffic can boost international sales if your offer fits global demand.

China traffic is hard if your funnel is outside China
Most users stay inside local apps and payment systems
wechat rednote and douyin are biggest but trust and localization matter a lot

In China platforms like WeChat Weibo Douyin and Xiaohongshu are popular China traffic can convert internationally but it depends on niche product type and whether your content connects well with the right audience and buying intent

Yes a lot of marketers do it through platforms like Xiaohongshu, Douyin, WeChat, and Baidu, but localization is everything.
