Do You Still Use Aged Reddit Accounts or Start Fresh?

I have seen different opinions on this recently. Some peoples prefer using aged reddit accounts because they already have history and karma, while others say it is safer and more effective to build fresh accounts around a specific niche from the start. This question is for those who are actively using reddit for traffic, community participation, or brand awareness, what has worked better for you? Do aged accounts still provide a noticeable advantage, or is account quality and activity history more important than age itself?

as of today I would say having an aged account is always an extra point rather than creating new and try to shine in the community

Because if you planing to spam then you knows what you need it must be aged account

I think that's a good point. Do you think an aged account with very little activity is still better than a newer account that is been actively contributing to relevant subreddits for a few months?

Of course its still better than having a freshly created account

Aged accounts that are warmed up properly, neatly, and perfectly without any kind of spamming are the best, as aged accounts gives you privilege to comment or post in some subreddits without getting banned.

If you have old account then that’s a plus point for you. You’ll get better results on old account. If you don’t that’s totally fine you can start a fresh account on your selected niche. I personally prefer old account

I agree aged accounts can give you a head start, but quality activity and genuine participation matter much more in the long run.
 
Always aged accounts because fresh ones get banned instantly.

An year ago i tested both new accounts, aged accounts, accounts with karma.

Aged accounts gave me best results.
 
Aged accounts provide a massive advantage because they bypass the initial sandbox and strict automod karma limits. However, that history is only valuable if you understand how to isolate the environment. If you don't have the anti-detect infrastructure to warm up purchased aged accounts properly, you are actually better off starting fresh and building the niche history manually.
 
Aged accounts work great when properly warmed up. People might have trouble when they try to use them out of the box. Instant spamming is a kill switch for both fresh and aged accounts.

What's the proper warm up method?
 
depends on use case. Fresh accounts are safer and easier to scale, but aged reddit accounts usually perform better for trust and posting limits if they’re clean.
 
I’m still using an account that I created five years ago, and it’s still working well.
 
My account, which was three years old and had over 20,000 Karma, was suspended. I created several new accounts afterward, but they were suspended one after another as well. This has left me very disappointed with the platform.
 
I still use aged accounts, but it has become harder to generate traffic. I usually buy accounts that are 3+ years old. Each account has its own proxy and an anti-detection browser (mainly use linken sphere and a little bit of adspover). What are your main problems, and how do you warm up your accounts?
 
Aged accounts still work better for Reddit, no doubt. Fresh accounts are just too easy to get filtered when they start posting links or joining money-related subs too early. But age alone means nothing if the account has messy history or changed hands too many times. Clean aged account, same niche, stable browser setup, that’s usually the sweet spot.

There is no standard method. Everyone follows their own strategy. 7-10 days of organic activity, exploring communities, checking and gaining badges usually aligns with interests of a regular user. Most marketers fail because they focus on karma farming instead of organic activity.
