Hey everyone,

I am thinking about starting a YouTube channel and wanted to get some advice from people who have been doing this for a while.

If you were starting a brand-new channel today, what would you focus on? Any tips, mistakes to avoid, useful tools, or things you wish you knew when you started?

When starting something, you need to prepare a certain number of videos beforehand so you can post them daily and create content consistently. The most important thing for business growth is consistency, regularity, and not giving up.
 
you must have to prepare a lot of videos even before starting a channel.
The best strategy is if the videos are ready, scheduale the videos. Try to be consistant with time of publishing your videos. Like if a video comes around 6PM everyday, there is the chance that algorithm will like it more
 
One thing I'd suggest is not putting too much pressure on yourself to make everything perfect from day one A lot of successful channels started with simple videos and improved over time I'd focus on picking a topic you genuinely enjoy because creating content consistently is much easier when you're interested in the subject It would also be helpful to know what type of channel you're planning to start since the advice can be very different depending on the niche
 
You have to know, when it will be monetizing time, that if you decide to don’t monetize a video YT will do it without asking you.

Resulting is many ads during your content and anoying your watchers.

I saw a great youtuber explaining in a video that now is will put an ad just before the end off his content, so we can watch videos without been disturb during the content

I do not have any experience in creating or growing youtube channel but my only advice would be start something in a field which you are passionate about. That will ensure that you will keep going even when the results take time.
 
The biggest thing I can tell you is that in the start focus on creating content and later on make the content better. In the start it should be quantity over quality and later on it should be quality over quantity. Youtube's algorithm is shi, so first get the audience than make them happier. This is all coming from youtubers I have talked to and they have all told me this.
 
Just start. don't overthink your first videos. Mistakes to avoid: don't buy views or subs. YouTube will bury your channel. Also don't obsess over analytics in the first month. Just post 10 videos, see what works, then adjust.
 
focus on thumnail and hook in first 30 sec bro, u can use capcut and vidiq, just upload don't wait for perfect camera setups
 
Leveraging AI is key and A/B testing multiple channels at once using antidetect is a good idea.
Expanding on that - view count varies from the start based on content and channel. See what works and stay consistent with it.
 
I'd focus on posting consistently in one niche first, too many ppl quit or keep changing topics before the channel gets enough data to grow.
 
1. Old aged account with some history (Must have)
2. If you are creating a new one, phone verified it and let it sit for few weeks and watch videos like, comment.
3. Post like 2 times max in a week for longer videos, 3 to 4 times for shorts.
4. Keep 24 hour to 36 hours gap between uploads
5. Go for trending niches for middle age group (High retention)
6. Get the account based in geo which you want to target, as youtube will first show your video to local audience.

These are the few ones you must follow for good start.

I would do a research first on what to create videos about. Then I would go record/create those videos faceless AI, upload them to YouTube and earn money. Tip : children's channels scale very well and have a high demand.

I think that more time should be spent on figuring out what the channel realisticially could create over the next six to twelve months rather than perfeicting the launch process. the initial few videos are more of a learning phase, try out different ideas and see how the audience reacts, which will give an indication of what needs more focus.

if i were starting my own channel today the first thing that would come to mind is to be clear about whom I m making it for nd y they need to watch it. it would take me some time to researrch channels within that niche nd learn why they attract people. the bigest problem with creating a channel is stopping too soon, most of the progress occurs afterwards.
