Is niche selection more important than content quality on YouTube?

In my opinion niche selection comes first with content coming second. Niche selection is usually done first because you need to complete the profile of your "ideal customer". Different people age wise for example will consume different content.

No, you should focus on content quality first then niche. But niche is important. If you choose a wide niche and provide qualityful content then you’ll be king..

Niche selection helps, but I don't think it's more important than content quality. Even in a popular niche, people won't watch if the content is boring. A good niche gets you opportunities, good content keeps the audience.

Content quality is always important. Low quality content may work in low competition niches but it doesn't mean content quality is ignored.

No tbh i think the quality of the content play a more important role, just see the way people create videos with the same content, somes really viral and be supported by the community and others not. we can conclude that the quality of the video's content still much more matter bro

it depends on each one's perspective tbh but i think if you can deep dive to a niche that noone can touch in then u will win in that niche bro. nut with the same niche content then the better quality the higher views you will get for sure
I think niche gets people interested, but content quality keeps them watching. A good niche can give you a head start, but even the best niche won't help much if viewers don't enjoy the videos.

@fix3el you can have the most amazing content in the world but if there is zero search volume or demand you are dead in the water. i tried scaling a high quality channel in a passion niche last year and it barely paid for the coffee i drank while editing. turned around and spammed basic slideshows in a high cpm finance subniche and made decent bank in two months. niche and traffic come first... quality is just what keeps them from clicking away after they find you.
