I have alot of old channels 3 function with 1mil+ views atleast 100+ subscribers, i need them to rank on different niches. I use boosters but they dont stick, I need it to perform good. What can I do? and if I cannot make a channel rank, how to know which channels will rank which wont?

test each channel by uploading 3 shorts, if they get zero impressions within 48 hours then that channel is completely dead, dont waste time on it

It need subscribers and viewers to rank channel in a certain niche post, most new upload niche videos get rank with subscribers on channel and number of viewers accumulated.

old channels help but they are not magic if the niche is completely different from the audience history, the channels that rank usually get strong click through rates and retention early on not just boosted views

I would test a few videos per channel first and keep the ones getting organic pickup instead of forcing every channel to work in a new niche

Old channel doesn’t rank automatically in different niche..if it’s audience built with one topic & you want to convert it to another topic you will loose audience and engagement. Its better you start with new channel

Tbh if boosters aren't sticking, the channel probably isn't matching the niche. test a few uploads first before investing more. Some old channels just refuse to push new topics no matter what.

You need to publish content and observe the growth response to determine which channel performs best. The key is to take action and then evaluate the results. I used a similar approach in the past, posting a few videos on different channels and, after one or two weeks, the differences in performance became very clear.

Focus on one niche per channel, remove mixed content, and grow it with consistent videos + strong watch time instead of boosters
Channels that already get natural engagement in that niche are the ones that will rank.

You should maintain each channel in a different area you're developing, maintaining consistency by regularly posting videos and running ads if necessary.

Nice base but you can’t force niches with boosts. youtube needs real, consistent viewers.

When channels fail after a niche switch, it's usually because the audience history doesn't match the new content

Forget boosters, channels that gain organic impressions, watch time, and retention after fresh uploads are the ones most likely to rank and grow in a new niche.

Your channel history is flagged because of that 1m view to 100 sub ratio. To fix it, privatize all old videos, clear the channel keywords, and change the location setting to your target country. Instead of shorts, upload a 5-minute long-form video targeting an ultra-low competition keyword. If YouTube gives it more than 100 impressions in 48 hours, the indexer is still active. If it stays at 0, ditch the account.

In my experience, old channels perform better when you stay close to the niche for which they are already known for. If a channel has trouble in ranging then I look at the things like watch time and how recent videos perform.

Past views and subscribers don't guarantee a channel will rank in a new niche. If you're switching niches, focus on rebuilding topical relevance with consistent content around one topic rather than relying on boosters. Give the channel 10-20 videos in the same niche and watch impressions, CTR, and audience retention. If Youtube keeps giving impressions after several uploads, that's usually a good sign the channel can grow in that niche.

focus one clear niche and build content consistency instead of boosting growth comes from audience retention engagement and watch time analytics help you decide which channels have real potential test content patterns and improve based on performance signals

i dont know how you got a million views with 100 subscribers but you should share the secret or sell a course on how to do it
