it is a simple question, is the point to help search engines find your web better or just plant a link in front of some people to scale visibility? and each is a different approach i guess. which one do you think is more effective for smm panels?

Both matters but for smm panels, visibility and direct clicks are more effective. Search engines will find you anyway if real people visit your links. Focus on placing links where your target audience actually hangs out, not just for bots.

for SEO the main point is authority and trust signals not direct clicks
some backlinks bring traffic too but most value comes from helping rankings

for SMM panels i would care more about relevant links that can rank pages than random visibility links alone

Backlinks mainly help search engines understand trust authority and relevance They can also bring referral traffic when real people click them In my experience the most valuable backlinks are the ones that improve both search visibility and attract relevant visitors

Quality backlinks tell the search engine that your site have authority. Make sure that the backlinks you are building are from reputable site. If Google or any other search engine notices spam site pointing to your domain, you will be penalized and possibly derank from serap

backlinks do both they help search engines trust and discover your site and they can also send direct referral traffic from real users from SMM panels I would focus more on relevant backlinks that bring trust and authority because random links send much converting traffic

backlinks inform search engines of your site .

For SMM panels, focus more on visibility and getting in front of the right audience. link that brings real users is usually more valuable than one that's only there for SEO.

Search engines treat links from other websites as signals that your content or website is worth referencing.
They are digital equivalent of word-of-mouth recommendations in real life.

Backlinks are for your website's pages what likes and comments are for your social posts. One strong relevant backlink to one strong relevant page will move you up in google for that page while dragging the whole website up. Like one of your posts going viral...you get 1 million likes for one post but that doesn't make your profile get 1 millon followers but it will increase your reach for the next post. Hope you get the picture now.

It’s basically both, but for SMM panels I’d say direct visibility or trust (people clicking it) matters way more. Backlinks for SEO help long term, but they’re slow. Most SMM panel growth usually comes from getting the link in front of the right buyers fast.

Backlinks are just a vote of confidence really.

"Hey I trust this site so I linked to it."

And so "link juice" flows to your site since their site trusted yours.

Nofollow links are similar but they say "hey I don't trust this site I've linked to so don't send any link juice to them".

for smm panels specifically, chasing high-authority seo links is kinda a money pit unless you have a massive budget. most of your customers are looking on forums, blackhat sites, or youtube anyway. i'd focus on getting links where the buyers actually hang out. direct traffic is king for panels because the conversion rate is way higher than random organic searchers who are just browsing. if you get some seo juice from it, cool, but don't waste months trying to rank a brand new panel on google for highly competitive keywords when you can just siphon traffic from active communities.

check out page rank. its a way of determining how good your website it based on how many people linked to you and how good those sites are. its a vote of confidence. when someone links to you it means your site is worth checking out. in good sites, people will actually click those links to check out the supporting information. I build these links by partnering up with sites related to my industry.

I dont think putting the link in front helps to scale visibility directly. but it may rank up your website and get more people to look at you in the first place.

For SMM panels skip slow SEO. The perfect place for you is to put links on forums, YouTube and niche blogs where buyers desperate to buy already are — aim for instant referral traffic that converts, not just pleasing Google's bot.

This is the key distinction for SMM panels. A niche forum link that sends buyers can beat a random high DR link that nobody clicks. I would still track both sides though: referral signups now and ranking movement over time.

For SMM panels, visibility is often exactly what matters first. If the link is placed where people are already looking for SMM services, it can bring direct traffic and buyers immediately. A random link will not do much, but a link in the right forum thread, niche blog, YouTube video, or comparison post can scale visibility much faster than waiting months for rankings. SEO value is nice, but early on I would rather measure real clicks and signups than just authority metrics.

Just like human life, you need to have more connection to back you up (backlinks) to have "more value" and to gain "authority". :)

one thing nobody really mentioned here is the timeline mismatch. if youre running a panel you usually need cashflow now, not in 6 months when google maybe decides to trust you. so the forum/yt placements win early just for that reason alone.

but i wouldnt fully write off seo either. once you start ranking for the longtail stuff like "cheap instagram followers panel" or whatever, that traffic compounds and its basically free after the work is done. the buyer links dry up the second you stop posting.

so for me its not really one or the other... its referral first to keep the lights on, then slowly build a few decent links so youre not stuck paying for placements forever. doing only one is how panels burn out imo
