Hey guys,

I am not the best at seo and I always have low comp. keywords that don't have much competition on the 1st page However most of my keywords always rank on the 2nd page I am using a parasite website and I dont want to invest in backlinks in case the website gets taken down.

How would you get these keywords bumped to the 1st page.

Thanks.

parasites can get a beating, just buy $10-20 worth of mass-spam backlinks off Fiverr (or whichever platform you prefer) and throw all of those millions of useless backlinks at your parasite.

If you're on page 2 but have no traffic and no revenue what's the point of even staying there? Just blast the crap out of it, either you rank, or bank! That's what I would do...

Now granted, this assumes that your content is good enough to rank to begin with. If your content is lackluster (boring, not properly formatted, not covering the topic in great detail, not optimized with the right SEO entities and LSI terms, etc.), blasting it with millions of garbage links will still not help. So, you gotta make sure your content is good first, otherwise you might lose even those $10 :)

Also, check whether your parasite is meeting the internal signals of the website it's on. Sometimes, internal activity (upvotes, likes, comments, shares, god-knows-what else) is enough to boost the trust of a parasite in google's eyes, which means they will start ranking it outright.

So, if the parasite is a Reddit page, for example, try to get genuine activity to that page and your rankings might improve on their own...

This kind of question has already been discussed many times here.
If you don’t want to invest in backlinks, then work on your SEO signals. Choose 10–20 of your strongest pages in GSC and the keywords connected to them, then strengthen those keywords with clear mentions, internal linking, an FAQ block, image alt text, a short "main points" block, and fresh updated information.
But I would not change the title or the main headings too much, so you don’t break the page intent. For me, in most cases this really works.

If the keywords are genuinely low competition, being stuck on page 2 usually means Google sees the pages above yours as slightly more relevant or trustworthy. I'd review the top 10 results and look for content gaps rather than immediately thinking about links.

If you're using low-competition keywords and not ranking, backlinks aren't the solution. Focus on improving your website, content, retention, CTR, interlinking, and reducing bounce rate. Low-competition keywords are easy to rank for without backlinks :3

parasite pages especially tend to stall on page 2 because they lack consistent authority signals, so it often comes down to whether the host domain is strong enough to push it further

Many people quit too early when their keywords reach page two.Small improvements in content internal links and consistency can often push rankings to page one

If your keywords are already on page two small improvements can make a difference I would focus on better content internal linking and updating the page Sometimes a few quality optimizations are enough to push rankings onto the first page

page 2 is usually a good sign, not a bad one. means you're in the race already. on parasite pages i'd spend time improving relevance and freshness before spending a dollar. sometimes a better title and a content update moves more than links, especially on low-comp terms.

improve on-page relevance and align the content more closely with search intent, it will help you. and if you are struck in this stage for long time, without buying backlinks you cant move to 1st page.

If the keywords are already on page 2 with low competition, I'd first look at internal linking, content expansion, and topical relevance. Sometimes a few highly relevant editorial links can make a bigger difference than building lots of links, especially for parasite pages.
